Songs for the Treadmill

I recently uncovered a little mystery that's plagued me all my life - how to run at the gym. Turns out it's all in the music. If the right music is playing, I not only can distract myself from the agonizing pain that wracks my entire body, but even experience something like that elusive "Runner's High".

Especially while indulging myself during the holidays, I've gotta drag myself to the gym and force myself to sweat for a while. I'm looking for more ideas - so: What are the Top Five Songs You Play to Get Your Heart Beating?

Its gotta be loud and its gotta be raucous; must keep the pace and energy high but not be so interesting as to pull focus away from the groove:

1. Corduroy -- Pearl Jam
2. My Wave -- Soundgarden
3. Sex Type Thing -- Stone Temple Pilots
4. Hard to Handle -- Black Crowes
5. Jimmy Olsen's Blues -- Spin Doctors

2. Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
3. Love Fool - The Cardigans
4. Canned Heat - Jamariquai
5. Hey Ya - Outkast

Who can't get pumped up from the Rocky songs? They always get me!

Yeah, I have to admit I'm with Carrie. I haven't worked out lately, but if I were going to, those are the songs that would pump me up.
